Received a call from RCMP, they received a report that the night before a caller indicated they spotted a white flare. An RCMP member was currently flying over the area to determine if anyone was in distress in the area. Terrace SAR was put on standby. Briefing with the RCMP it was determined the flare was not a distress flare. Terrace SAR stood down.
