Looking for a search crew to fly to telegraph creek tomorrow morning. Searching for a male who may have walked away from a vehicle accident over an embankment . Crews will search abandoned buildings and adjacent inaccessible terrain via helicopter. Rope and swiftwater members prioritized for this assignment. Hello Terrace Search and Rescue this is Dwayne Sheppard it’s Monday night at 1900 hrs. we’ve been asked by the RCMP to conduct a search for missing youth with developmental challenge problems. This male functions at the level of a 3-6 year old and was last sceen in the Thornhill fair grounds area. If you are available to assist please respond to the SAR hall.

using cell phones and maps we were able to direct subject safely out of bush to waiting rcmp

team responded to scene and spotted vehicle down stream from bridge. crews search vehicle with underwater camera and confirmed license plate for rcmp.

team then removed vehicle

Team requested to search for missing hunter in the hazelton area.

Hunter followed moose into bush and did not return.

team members responded via helicopter and vehicle

Rcmp request assistance for stranded hunters up the cooper river road.

Team responded via helicopter and transported hunters to safety
